As part of the pre-summit workshop, Climate Impact Communicators in partnership with Travel Oregon hosted a 90-minute session for outfitters, guides, non-profits, and local agency officials across Oregon to enhance climate literacy. With over 60 attendees, the workshop featured an introduction to climate science and interactive communication exercises designed to equip participants with resources to effectively convey the impacts of climate change in their work. Attendees also had the opportunity to share their experiences with climate-related challenges and the adaptive strategies they’ve implemented, fostering peer learning and collaboration.
